RESUMO

As representações sociais de professores e alunos numa escola apresenta um panorama de como acontece a assimilação dos significados da aprendizagem pessoal e coletiva, envolvendo pessoas que buscam um aperfeiçoamento da prática, para contribuir com a construção do conhecimento permitindo condições de aceitação das diferenças individuais tornando positivas as relações interpessoais numa instituição de ensino. O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi analisar se as “representações sociais” do profissional de educação, no que diz respeito à relação professor e alunos, interferem no aprendizado escolar. A pesquisa tem abordagem qualitativa utilizando-se do método indutivo, sendo um estudo de caso com questionário aplicado a 10 professores e 30 alunos com escolha intencional. Os principais resultados indicam que aspectos técnicos e afetivos, que envolvem o trabalho do professor em sala de aula, contribuem com o aprendizado e com uma melhora na qualidade de vida dos alunos. Considera-se que o relacionamento professor-aluno envolve aspectos da formação profissional do educador e sentimentos afetivos que consolidam uma prática desenvolvida com competência no interior da escola.

ABSTRACT

The social representations of teachers and students in a school provide an overview of how assimilation of the meanings of personal and collective learning takes place involving people who seek to improve their practice to contribute to the construction of knowledge, allowing conditions for the acceptance of individual differences, making positive relationships interpersonal skills in an educational institution. The general objective of this work was to analyze whether the “social representations” of the education professional with regard to the teacher and students relationship interfere in school learning. The research has a qualitative approach using the inductive method, being a case study with a questionnaireapplied to 10 teachers and 30 students with an intentional choice. The main results indicate that technical and affective aspects that involve the teacher’s work in the classroom contribute to the learning and an improvement in the students’ quality of life. It is considered that the teacher- student relationship involves aspects of the educator’s professional training and affective feelings that consolidate a competently developed practice within the school.
